DKPUSBABEL, PANGKALPINANG – Cahaya Anggela, a student of Junior High School 1 Kelapa, West Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Province, succeed to bring the 1st winner trophy of short story writing competition for Junior High School level in Babel which was organized by the Agency of Archive and Library of Bangka Belitung Province.
The student from Junior High School 1 Kelapa, has succeed to eliminate 49 competitors through her short story titled “Menembus Dunia dengan buku”, held at the Meeting Room DKPUS Babel, Tuesday, 29/9/2020.
The 2nd winner, Lintang Kinasih Azzahra from Senior High School 2 Pangkalpinang with her short story titled “Kotak Milik Mei”. The 3rd winner, by Sheila Florensia Caroline from Junior High School 2 Sungailiat, Bangka Regency with her short story titled “Bukan Karena Burung”.
The 1st Runner up, Angelina Laurens Fransiska from Junior High School 2 Sungailiat, Bangka Regency with her short story titled "Dua Jalur". The 2nd Runner up, Nayya Faizah Mutmainnah from High School 1 Kelapa, West Bangka Regency with short story titled "Kebahagiaan Hati".
The 1st winner will get a trophy, certificate and coaching money which are directly submitted by the Head of the Archive and Library Agency, Asyraf Suryadin at the breaking afternoon roll-call.
The submission gift witnessed by Administrator Officer, Pengawas/Supervisor, JFT/specified functional official, Pelaksana/Staff dan PHL/non-permanent civil servants of Archives and Library Agency. It was witnessed also by the participants, parents and companion teachers.
In his speech, Asyraf Suryadin as the Head of the Agency motivated students to keep on writing. He said, for all the winners, kept on working. For the unlucky one, don’t be sad, keep improving your writing capability to be the good one.
Asyraf also motivated all participants by telling a glimpse of his life journey when he was a student who loves to join the writing competition. At that time, he had experiences of success and no success to be a champion. One thing that always motivates him to improve his enthusiasm in writing was when he wasn’t success to be a winner. By not being a winner, his work can be published in a book and it is income for him. He added, later on, the result of this competition will be published in a book.
Asyraf said, this short story writing competition is attended by 50 students. In this Covid-19 situation, the competition will be carried out in two sessions. For each session, there will be 25 participants. The first session is starting from 08.00 to 10.00 WIB, and the second session is starting from 10.00 to 12.00 WIB.
He also added that all participants have to use a mask during the competition, checked their body temperature, washed their hands and kept the distance. For participants from Belitung, they will do competition by virtual.

"The Competition is also divided into two sessions. For the first session, there will be 25 students, and the second session will be 25 students, "said Asyraf. He hoped that all participants in this a Scientific Paper Writing Competition can bring the "Virus" of reading interest for their friends at school, and their families.
